Variety’s article about Tom’s production deal (which he mentioned in an interview a few weeks back) used a crop from this lovely old Bronson screening photo. I only have the tagged version…if anyone has it in high res, please share. :)
‘Dark Knight’ thesp signs a year after getting Bane role
Tom Hardy has signed a first-look deal at Warner Bros., a little more than a year after he came on board to portray the villain Bane in the studio’s “The Dark Knight Rises.”The English actor’s recent roles include “This Means War,” “Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy” and “Warrior.” In addition to “The Dark Knight Rises” in July, he’ll also be seen in August in “The Wettest County.”
Hardy’s deal was signed on the heels of Warner inking a two-year, first-look deal with Bradley Cooper for his 22 & Indiana Pictures production company (Variety, March 2).
Warner Bros. has about three dozen first-look production and distribution deals, more than any other studio. Its roster of producer-actors includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Russell Brand, Zac Efron, Robert Downey Jr., Morgan Freeman, Steve Carell, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon.
